Traveling

All tourists to Greenland arrive by plane, and most via Denmark. It is only a 4 hour flight from Copenhagen to Narsarsuaq, the airport in South Greenland. Flights should be booked directely via Air Greenland.

Since no two towns on the entire island are connected
by roads, boats are an important menas of transportation.
Transfer from the airport to Narsaq and trips within South Greenland can be booked via the website of Blue Ice Explorer
or Disko Line.

Iceland connection
During the summer season, there are also flights between Reykjavik and Narsarsuaq.
For ticket and schedule information, see the
Iceland Air website.

Plan ahead
It pays to book your trip well in advance.
Airlines offer a certain number of seats at reduced fares. Economy round-trip tickets from Copenhagen to Narsarsuaq are usually sold out many months ahead of the main summer tourist season.
